Submit an application for the Canada Emergency Business Account and get an interest-free loan up to $60,000.

The Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) will provide interest-free loans of up to $60,000 to eligible small businesses and not-for-profits to h​elp cover their operating costs during a period where their revenues have been temporarily reduced. Repaying the balance of the loan on or before December 31, 2022 will result in loan forgiveness of 33 percent (up to $20,000).

To qualify, your organization will need to match certain criteria and apply through our online banking portal.

Applications will only be accepted through our online banking portal.

Applicants who have received the original $40,000 CEBA loan may apply for the $20,000 expansion, which provides eligible businesses with an additional $20,000 in financing. $10,000 of this increase will be deemed forgivable if repaid by the December 31, 2022 Maturity date.

All applicants have until March 31, 2021, to apply for $60,000 CEBA loan or the $20,000 expansion.

As of October 26, 2020, eligible Canadian businesses currently operating through a personal bank account are also able to apply for CEBA. 

How to submit your CEBA application through online banking: 


1. Log into Online Banking with your Business Account

2. Select Account Services from the left hand menu

3. Select Canada Emergency Business Application

4. Follow the prompts depending on your level of application to enter all of the required information 

5. Hit submit

6. Wait for a member of our team to get in touch with you, to gather additional required information before your application can be submitted to the Government of Canada.
