CRA Business Taxes

Northern Birch Credit Union can help you quickly, conveniently and securely remit your business taxes to the Canada Revenue Agency. The filing information is sent automatically to the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) for processing. You can also view and print the payment history for each of these types of payments.

Add business tax payments to Online Banking: 

  • Login to your online banking
  • Go to "Payments" in the left-hand menu
  • Click "Pay Business Taxes"
  • Select the type of CRA bill you want and click "Add Account"
  • Enter your CRA account number or Business Number
  • Choose which membership you want to add this payment to, and click "Add Account"
  • Note the CRA account will be added the next business day and can then be paid in Online Banking

We can accept a wider selection of CRA remittances in branch.  If you have CRA remittances for your business that are not listed below, come to the branch to make the payment. We will require the original remittance voucher and any applicable information to make the payment on your behalf.

 

You can file and pay ("remit") the following business tax payments in Online Banking:

This form allows you to file GST/HST owing return to the CRA with or without remitting a payment.

  • Click on File
  • You will be prompted to enter information from your hard copy form (GST 34-2).
  • You will have an opportunity before submitting the information to make edits should any of the information you have typed be incorrect.
  • You will then be prompted for the option to File and Pay or File Only.
  • You will be asked to confirm the transaction and will be provided with a confirmation number for the payment.
  • You will be asked to confirm the transaction, if you click on File and Pay you will also be prompted for a payment date and the account to debit for the payment.
  • At the end of your transaction you will receive a confirmation number.

This form is used to make payments on an existing debt or to make a prepayment for an anticipated reassessment.

  • Click on Remit
  • Enter information into the form provided
  • You will then have the option to remit the payment to the CRA.
  • At the end of your transaction you will receive a confirmation number

This form is used to make interim payments for the tax year-end for which CRA has not processed a return.

  • Click on Remit
  • Enter information into the form provided
  • You will then have the option to remit the payment to the CRA.
  • At the end of your transaction you will receive a confirmation number.

This form is used to make your Corporation Tax Remittance.

  • Click on Remit
  • Enter information into the form provided and select one of the 3 types of payments:
    • Installment
    • Arrears/Amount Owing
    • Payment of Filing
  • You will then have the option to remit the payment to the CRA
  • At the end of your transaction you will receive a confirmation number
  • Click on File
  • Enter information into the form provided
  • Select Remittance Type:
    • Accelerated Threshold 1 – 15th or last day of the month
    • Accelerated Threshold 2 – 7th, 14th, 21st or last day of the month
  • You will then have the option to remit the payment to the CRA
  • At the end of your transaction you will receive a confirmation number
